The ski jumping season has started.

The World Cup, the World Championships and the Four Hills Tournament can be seen on TV and in the live stream.

All information about the transfer.

  • The

    2020/2021 season

in ski jumping started on November 20th.

  • In addition to the World Cup, the

    World Championships

in Planica and Oberstdorf are on the agenda.

  • Here you can find out where you can

    watch every single

    men's

    jump

live on TV and live stream.

Munich - The

World Cup

is the Bundesliga of ski jumping.

But while the footballers take a break in winter, the hot phase for the ski jumpers only begins here - this year

on November 20th

with the

qualification

for the World Cup.

It is the largest competition of the

Fédération Internationale de Ski (FSI)

.

In 2020, ski jumping will also be broadcast live on TV and in live stream from several channels in Germany.

Since 2017 the

Adam-Malysz-Schanze

in Wisla, Poland is the first in a series of

21 hills

.

She has a

hill size

of 134 meters, and last year triumphed Norwegian

Daniel-Andre Tande

with 241.4 points.

In the end, it was enough for the 26-year-old to finish ninth in the

overall World Cup ranking

.

First was the Austrian

Stefan

Kraft,

ahead of the

German Karl Geiger

and the Japanese

Ryoyu Kobayashi

.

In the

Nations Cup

, Germany won ahead of Austria and Norway.

Ski jumping live on TV and live stream: World Cup 2020/21 and the World Championships in Planica and Oberstdorf

A race between the major

ski jumping nations is

expected

again this year

.

The

Four Hills Tournament

at the turn of the year is the highlight of the World Cup,

especially for German and Austrian fans

.

The legendary tour with stops in Oberstdorf and

Garmisch-Partenkirchen

has its own rating, which the Pole

Dawid

Kubacki won

last year

.

Other highlights are the World Championships in Oberstdorf and the Ski Flying World Championships in Planica, Slovenia, neither of which are part of the World Cup.

The World Cup continues to Wisla on

November 29th

in

Ruka,

Finland

and on

December 6th

in

Nizhny Tagil,

Russia

.

The

Raw Air

series

on four ski jumps in

Norway

is also of great international importance

.

The series is the successor to the Nordic Tournament, which was once created as a counterpart to the Four Hills Tournament.

The highlight is the competition at

Hollmenkollbakken

in Oslo.

Ski jumping and Corona: what's different this season

The two appointments in the Japanese

Sapporo

were due to the Corona pandemic

canceled

.

Changes may also arise in the course of the season.

Which competitions

will take place in

front of a

ghost

backdrop and which

will not

take place

at all can

not be foreseen at this point in time.

However, this has no influence on the broadcast live on TV and in the live stream during ski jumping.

In

times of Corona, the organizers have come up with

something very unusual

for the

Ski Flying World Championships

in Planica

: fans should

be able to follow

what is happening

in the car from the parking lot

.

Other events such as the New Year's jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen have already announced that no spectators are allowed in the stadium.

It is all the more important that TV stations and online platforms bring the World Cup and the two World Championships live to your living room.

Merkur.de

has put together for you where and when which ski jumping event can be seen live on TV and in the live stream.

With individual and team competitions, the World Cup calendar has

34 dates

until the grand finale in Planica (not the World Cup!)

From March 26th to 28th, 2021.

World Cup: Ski jumping live on TV at Eurosport, on ARD and in the live stream with DAZN

The

2020/21 World Cup can be seen

both live on

TV

and in the

live stream

.

On TV, the

ARD

and the sports broadcaster

Eurosport take care of

the broadcast, on the Internet the sports streaming service

DAZN is

responsible.

The ARD only shows the

individual jumping

, DAZN individual and

team

jumping

.

Eurosport will also broadcast the qualification in Wisla on November 20th.

The first jumps of the 2020/21 season can be seen at Eurosport

from 5:55 p.m.

If you

don't have a television

, you can also

receive

the station as a live stream on the

Eurosport player

.

However, a

subscription is

required for this.

Ski jumping: The World Cup in Oberstdorf - dates and broadcast times on TV

The

Nordic World Ski Championships

will be held this year in Oberstdorf, Bavaria.

Ski jumping takes place on the prestigious

Schattenbergschanze

, where the start of the Four Hills Tournament can be admired every year.

The dates for the men's ski jumping are between February

26th and 28th

and March

4th and 6th

.

The exact times - and when the

TV station

with the

reporting

start - but are not yet fixed.

At

Merkur.de

you will of course always find out when there is new information.

The Ski Flying World Championships in Planica live on TV and live stream on Eurosport and ARD / ZDF

But before a

new world

champion is crowned

in Oberstdorf

, the reigning one has to be found.

Due to the corona virus, the Slovenian authorities, in coordination with the FIS, canceled the World Cup in spring and postponed it to the end of the year.

Between December 10th and 13th,

the World Championships on the

Letalnica bratov Gorišek

hill

in Planica will be rescheduled.

The special thing about the jump is the enormous hill

size of 240 meters

.

As a result, some of the

longest jumps are

possible here.

The record is currently 252 meters and is held by the Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi.

Fans can look forward to some outstanding jumps this year too.

However, since only a few fans are allowed to be live in cars, most of them will probably have to switch to television here as well.

But that's not a problem at an event like this.

It is broadcast by Eurosport as well as on

public TV

(

ARD

or

ZDF

).
