The International Center for Football History and Statistics today announced the list of the 50 best goalkeepers in the world for 30 years.
In a statement on its official website, the center stated that veteran Juventus goalkeeper Jean-Luigi Buffon was at the top of the list as the best goalkeeper from 1987 to 2020 with 357 points.
The top three also included retired goalkeepers, as Real Madrid and former Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas finished runners-up with 260 points and Czech Petr Cech 218 points.
