Real Madrid defeated Atalanta 0-1 a little yesterday (Wednesday), but the away goal they scored in Bergamo may be the tie-breaker in the last eight of the Champions League.
The game was supposed to be much more balanced, but the red card received by Remo Froer pretty much made the deal comfortable for the Blancos.
In the end, a goal by Perland Mandy in the 86th minute prevailed.
Luckily for Real, despite the lack of Karim Benzema, she managed to win, but there is no doubt that there is a fear of the sequel.
"It's not a problem, because in the end we scored," said coach Zinedine Zidane, "We have a lot of injuries, but we continue with whoever is here. "It's our fault that we played against 10 players. The most important thing is the result."
On Mandy's goal, Zidane said: "It was a practiced move, but Perland was not the one to score it."
Regarding the fact that he put Isco at the helm, the Frenchman said: "It has been a long time since he played so many minutes, and he succeeded in the task. He had a great game."
