The Hunts 'championship dreams got another boost tonight, when a light win over the Magic extended the team's winning streak to eight, the Hunts' best in 15 years.
Brooklyn finished the game during the second quarter in which it won by a margin of 22 points, thus turning the rest of the game into Garbage Time which it enjoyed at all times.
Kyrie Irving led the winner with 27 points and nine assists, with James Harden settling for 20 of his own.
Landry Shamett was third on the lead in the Nets' offense with 19 points and nine rebounds.
Nikola Wojciech was alone in this campaign from the Orlando side with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
Milwaukee - New Orleans 125: 129.
The close game could have gone either way in the closing minutes, but the Pelicans froze in moments of truth and allowed the Bucks to run 2: 9 and win.
Yannis Antocompo, who took over the game in the closing minutes scored 38 points alongside 10 rebounds for Milwaukee, with Chris Middleton adding 31 points.
Zion Williamson was huge in New Orleans with 34 points, but even Brendan Ingram's help with 23 points was not enough to prevent the victory from slipping into the hands of the Pelicans.

The Clippers did not expect such a defeat.
Against Grizzlies in a team game, they just gave up quickly.
Even too fast.
Memphis' points distribution put four players at the center.
Tios Jones with 20 points (career high), Dillon Brooks with 19 points, Ja Morant with 16 points and Jonas Valancionas with 16 of his own and also 15 rebounds.
The Clippers stars looked off and unfocused, with Kwai Leonard scoring 17 points and Paul George settling for 13.
Philadelphia - Dallas 97: 111.
The Sixers' aggressive second quarter set them up for the win over Mavericks Nerfim, who on a mediocre day by Luka Doncic (19 points) were out of luck.
On the winning side, Joel Ambide was the dominant player and led with 23 points and 9 rebounds, with Ben Simmons assisting him with 15 points.
In another game, the New York Knicks defeated the Sacramento Kings 121: 140 with 25 points by Emanuel Quickley.
Darron Fox led the Kings with 29 points.
