Peiting - In the team statistics of the Oberliga Süd, EC Peiting ranks among the top 3 in all four categories (power play, outnumbered game, shooting efficiency and fair play). In the table, however, the ECP only ranks seventh in the middle.
"The information about the shooting efficiency is mostly incorrect, but the other good values help us," said Peiting's coach Sebastian Buchwieser.
Whereby he immediately restricts: "They are not necessarily directly related to the table status."
These numbers are currently less of a concern for him, rather it is the thinned Peitinger squad.
Before the contrast program this weekend with the guest appearance on Friday at the bottom of the league HC Landsberg and on Sunday with the home game against the leaders of the table, the Eisbären Regensburg, some important players are canceled.

Buchwieser has already assigned the roles: The Upper Palatinate team has “an extremely strong team”, according to Peiting's coach, “they are the clear favorites”.
The "polar bears" have only lost five of their 31 games this season.
The Peitinger taught them one of them in mid-January (0: 2).
"That's why they are eager to take revenge," said Buchwieser, who is expecting a highly motivated opponent.
Thomas Heger is particularly looking forward to this game against Regensburg, as his brother Lukas plays for the Upper Palatinate.
