Opta Statistics has announced that Barcelona and Spain goalkeeper Victor Valdes is the most prolific goalkeeper in the current century in the Spanish League.
The site stated on its official account that Valdez had excelled by 171 out of 387 games he played over Iker Casillas, the legend of goalkeeping in Real Madrid and the Spain national team, who kept his net by 160 out of 468 games in La Liga.
Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak came third, keeping his net in 116 out of 214 appearances, while former Real Madrid and current Espanyol goalkeeper Diego Lopez finished fourth with 98 times he managed to keep his net in 352 matches.
