Antonio Cassano claims that so far, the time of Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus is considered a failure.
The Portuguese star joined the old lady in the summer of 2018 in a deal of 120 million euros and the former Italian national team striker says in an interview that he is not excited about the amount of goals he scores even after celebrating his 36th birthday.
"Juventus have signed him to win the Champions League, but it has had poor results since he arrived. They would have won Serie A even without him. It was a wrong decision to bring him in for such sums," the Italian footballer said in the past.
"For 120 years, victory was the only thing that mattered at Juventus. It is still a must, but they tried to change their skin with Sari and Pirlo," he added.
Cassano added: "Ronaldo's ability has nothing to do with Pirlo's arrival. He will continue to score because he can do it even in sitting."
On Inter, who lead the league table, he said: "They are in the race for the Scudetto (Italian Championship) alone. They have finished their way in Europe and the Italian Cup. If they do not win this title it will be a failure."
