He played for FC Ingolstadt in the U19 Bundesliga and with the Schanzer Reserve in the Bayernliga: Felix Bachmann is now returning to TSV Allershausen.

Allershausen

- The footballers of TSV Allershausen are looking forward to prominent reinforcements for the rest of the season: Felix Bachmann, a former youth player, is coming back to seventh place in the table in Kreisliga 2.

The 21-year-old defensive man switched to FC Ingolstadt 04 after the U13 and played there for the second team in the Bayernliga at the beginning of March 2020.

After spending a semester abroad in the USA, the native of Allershausen returned to his home community in the winter.

If amateur football starts again this spring and the remaining games of the 2019/21 season can be played, Felix Bachmann will play for his home club for a few months.

"It's definitely a brutal enrichment for us - even if it's only for a short time," said Philipp Jordan, head of the soccer department.

“Felix played every game at Ingolstadt II in the Bayernliga until the spring lockdown and was active in the Bundesliga with the U19s.

If he now plays for us for three months as an Allershausen resident and trains with us, that's a great thing. "

"Felix will raise the level in training and be able to help us in the games."

Allershausen's trainer Michael Stiller is also very happy about the new addition: “That's great for us.

He can only help us with his vita.

We are happy to accept every young player from Allershausen.

I think Felix will definitely raise the level in training and then be able to help us in the games. ”The position in which the nominal defender can best support TSV remains to be seen.

“We have no pressure - and so the other players in the squad don't have to be afraid either.

Maybe the coach will have to play less, ”says the 47-year-old trainer with a wink.

“I only see advantages.

Hopefully my young players can learn a lot from Felix. "

Felix Bachmann just celebrated his 21st birthday, still lives in Allershausen and is currently studying football management at the University of Applied Management (FHAM) in Ismaning.

In the senior sector, he has so far made 21 appearances (one goal) at FC Ingolstadt 04 II in the Bayernliga Süd.

Before that, he played 26 games (two goals) in the U19 Bundesliga for Schanzer.

However, the defensive specialist started playing football in his home town of Allershausen.

As a 13-year-old, he then completed trial training sessions at some of the top Bavarian clubs - including TSV 1860 and FC Bayern Munich.

Ultimately, better accessibility was the decisive factor in favor of FC Ingolstadt 04 in 2014. “A really good club,” says Felix Bachmann in retrospect.

"There I was trained as a teenager under professional conditions in the youth training center."

The next stop should be a higher-class club in the area

After his contract with Ingolstadt expired in the summer of 2020, the then 20-year-old went to the United States on a football scholarship.

There he was attracted by the connection between academic life and sporting activities.

With the help of an agency that supported the selection of the university and the handling of formalities, Bachmann found his new sporting home at Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho.

There the coach gave him the feeling in numerous phone calls that he absolutely wanted him on the team.

Ultimately, however, the reality did not meet expectations, so that the student broke off the USA chapter - also because of Corona - after a few months.

From Bachmann's point of view, it was still a valuable experience.

After his return in December he would like to have fun with football again.

“After the whole US thing that didn't work out that way, and because of the Corona restrictions, a lot was left behind.

I want to get the feeling for the ball again so that I can fully attack in the new season, ”emphasized the 21-year-old.

He hopes that he can play a few more games for his home club before aiming for new goals in the summer.

He doesn't yet know exactly where he's going.

But if possible, it should be a club in the vicinity of Allershausen that plays higher class.
