Milwaukee (1:21 p.m.) - L.A.
Clippers (12:24) 100: 105
Big win for Yannis Antocampo among his stars against the Clippers.
The Greek freak provided a tremendous evening of 36 points (15 from 27 from the field), 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 blocks, and mostly a sense that he is omnipotent on both sides of the field, in the Bucks' prestigious victory.
Chris Middleton added 19 points (8 assists, 6 rebounds), and Milwaukee wins mostly thanks to defense, keeping the Clippers without a point in the final 4 minutes.
At the start of the game Milwaukee looked in control, leading by 5 at the break, went up to a 60:70 lead in the third quarter, but the Clippers responded with a 0:12 run and went up to 70:72 to take the lead.
4:01 minutes to go the Clippers led 96: 100, but got stuck, with Antocompo giving a tremendous defense to Leonard, keeping the ring with two excellent blocks.
1:57 minutes to go Yannis scored 2 from the line and set up 100: 101, both teams again had a hard time scoring, Paul George hit nothing, and Yannis provided a spectacular dunk 10.3 seconds to go to set up a 100: 103 for Milwaukee.
Leonard missed a three that could have forced overtime, and Middleton closed a story off the line.
Leonard finished with 25 points and 9 rebounds, Paul George settled for 16 points on 2 of 10 of the three, Serge Ivka was not bad with 15 points (3 threes) and 11 rebounds, but the Clippers (in eight Their last games they won one and immediately lost one) scored just 14 of 44 over the arc (31.8 percent) and paid for a disappointing final quarter in which they lost 28:19.
For Milwaukee it's a fifth straight win.
