The owner of Inter Miami and one of the greatest footballers in history, David Beckham, has admitted that he aspires to sign Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo with the aim of collaborating.
The former Manchester United and Milan midfielder attended an event to launch Miami's new shirt yesterday (Saturday) and discussed future club plans.
"I said from day one that our academy system is a significant part of this club and if we can grow players here it will be great," Beckham told AFP.
"But we know our fans want to see the big stars. We already have players like Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuide who add to the glow," he added.
On Messi and Ronaldo he said: "We always want to bring in great players. Miami is a great destination for any player who aspires to win. There is no doubt that Messi and Ronaldo are the kind of players we want to add if they are interested."
