Hapoel Kfar Saba's 0-1 Summary over Bnei Sakhnin (Sport 1)
Will another coach in the Premier League end his role?
Avitan tried on the way out of Bnei Sakhnin, after another loss that the team suffered, when it surrendered last night (Saturday) to Hapoel Haifa.
The management discussed things and there is an almost total agreement that there is a need for a shock in the coach's position.
The leading candidate is Sharon Mimar and he is expected to meet with the club's heads soon.
Avitan is expected to end his position after about five months with Sakhnin ranked last in the Premier League with 20 points in 22 rounds.
Under him, Sakhnin became the weakest defensive team in the league with 32 mandatory goals, while also in right goals (10) it is the last in the league.

Prior to his tenure in Sakhnin, Avitan served for many years as a youth coach at Hapoel Beer Sheva.
In 2017 he received the reins for the first time in the senior team, when he was appointed coach of Hapoel Hadera, marched it to the Premier League and made it the surprise of the season in the senior league in the 2018/19 season, with a historic promotion to the top playoffs.
After that, he coached Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Raanana for short periods.
