Australian Alexei Popirin completed a dream week in the Singapore tournament from the ATP 250 round. The Australian, who reached the tournament as unranked, needed 84 minutes to complete the win as he lost just six points behind his serve (46 of 52) and won seven consecutive serve games at zero after a 5-3 deficit in the first set.

"It felt amazing," Popirin said after the win, "I sacrificed a lot, dedicated a lot and it took a lot of hard work from me, also from my team and my family. I did it for everyone involved, I'm so proud I was able to do it." The world number 114 will now advance to his career highs and will be ranked 87th in the new rankings to be released on Monday.

* June Ehrlich and Andrei Vasilyevsky of Belarus lost 6: 2, 7: 5 to Henry Continen and Edouard Roja and Salan in the final of the Montpellier tournament.
