Nahariya suspended Joe Alexander until further notice after a series of disciplinary incidents, the team has confirmed the player's suspension, and it has not yet been decided whether and when he will return to the squad.

Alexander arrived in Nahariya at the beginning of the season as one of the key players, and although he met his expectations statistically (12.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game), the team expected him to be more at the leadership level.
