French football club Rennes coach Julien Stefan has announced his resignation from coaching the first team.
The club said in a statement on its official website that 40-year-old Stefan submitted his resignation after losing his team to Nice 1-2 yesterday during the French League clashes.
The club thanked the coach for the nine years he spent in its ranks, starting with supervising age groups before taking over the first team training in 2018.
Rennes is ranked ninth in the French league.
