Another disappointing night has passed for Danny Abdia, who is unable to restart the rookie season in the NBA that seems to have gotten a bit stuck for her lately.

The Israeli of the Washington Wizards shared just 7 minutes tonight in the dramatic 111: 110 loss to the Boston Celtics after a basket of victory by Jason Taitum.

Abdia - who again did not start in the top five - got into an early offense problem, and already in the second quarter he suffered a third offense and went down to the bench until the end of the game.

He finished the game without points (0 of 1 from the field), dropped one rebound and snatched once.

This is not the first time the Israeli has been in such a situation - just a few days ago in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, Abdia committed 3 quick offenses and returned to the bench.

Unlike previous times, this time coach Scott Brooks did not bring Abdia back into the game and he finished his part in the second quarter.

"We needed defense and we needed players to guard without committing offenses," the coach explained why he preferred Isaac Bonga over the Israeli.

"We have a deep squad of 15 players, everyone has to be prepared, the minutes are not guaranteed for any player. Every player who comes on the pitch has to save and no fouls are committed. The fouls allowed the Celtics to go to the penalty line too many times."

The coach commented on Abdia's ability: "Danny is a good player and he will be a great player. No young player has an easy league, and there are times it's not your night. This time it was not Abdia's night, and maybe on Tuesday against Memphis it will be. Players go through it. "We as a team need defense without fouls. Danny's fouls did not lose us in the game, but we needed a change, and Bonga was the next player in the rotation."

On the night between Tuesday and Wednesday (02:00 Israel time) Washington will host the Memphis Grizzlies, and Abdia will hope to avoid speeding this time around and possibly embark on a new path.
