TSV 1860 Munich: Niklas Lang celebrates his professional debut in the derby

Niklas Lang celebrated his professional debut in the 3-1 derby win of TSV 1860 against SpVgg Unterhaching.

The 18-year-old was allowed to play against his ex-club from the start.

February 26, 2021 will be remembered for even longer by Niklas Lang.

Ironically, in the derby against SpVgg Unterhaching, the 18-year-old celebrated his professional debut with third division club TSV 1860 Munich.

Due to a few failures, the young footballer, who once started his career at TSV Perchting-Hadorf, was even allowed to play from the start. It got even better for the central defender: He delivered a solid performance and was able to celebrate a 3-1 (1-0) home win over one of his previous clubs with his team. "It was definitely not easy for him in the back three," said 1860 coach Michael Köllner. But Lang had "shown that he can stand his ground", even if in the end he was "short of breath".
