Family reunification in Malabes?

The National League provides quite a few hallucinatory cases, and one such came tonight (Tuesday) from the direction of Nir Berkovich.

The coach, who returned for a second term at Hapoel Umm al-Fahm, announced after the 3-0 defeat to Hapoel Ramat Gan in his renewed debut, that he was resigning due to "personal reasons".

Berkowitz returned to the club with which he stunned Maccabi Tel Aviv in the state cup last season, when on the way he went through two different teams and Umm al-Fahm changed three coaches.

But the match this time was short-lived.

Umm al-Fahm is entangled at the bottom of the national table after a streak of 11 games without a win, but may yet face Berkowitz as its rival in the lower playoffs.

The one who is now considering appointing him is Hapoel Petah Tikva, the team that was joined about two months ago by brother Eyal Berkovich as a professional manager.

The team went down to last place tonight after a 1: 1 battle in the bottom against MS.

Kafr Qassem, and has achieved only one victory with Haim Shabu since eight in mid-December.

Despite Eyal's statements at the press conference at which he was presented, according to which he will not name his brother, the chances increase that this will indeed happen.
