This case drags on.
Ousted in November 2020 by Canal + for a parody of the CNews program "L'Heure des Pros", Sébastien Thoen had received a number of supporters, contesting the decision of the encrypted channel.
A petition signed by 148 people was then published, and it is these 148 signatures that are bothered by Canal now.
If 48 signed anonymously, the other 100 would have been requested, at least orally according to
Le Monde
, to leave the channel.
The latter would claim that this support for their ex-colleague would call into question their "loyalty".
Stéphane Guy, main football commentator on Canal, was ordered to leave the channel after offering his support to the comedian during a match.
Three freelancers were notified of the end of their collaboration with Canal +.
Marie Portolano, signatory and presenter for the encrypted channel would have already packed up according to L'Equipe, since she would join M6.
