Hapoel Holon Model 2020/21 season.
It opened the Premier League at 4-0, and has since run to 2-8 and clung to the top tier.
Had it not been for the strange finish in the fourth quarter and in overtime, it would have ousted Maccabi Tel Aviv and advanced to the state cup final.
For the first time she went through a stage in the Champions League.
And last night (Thursday) a historic glass ceiling shattered - when for the first time in its history, after ten losses in 24 years, it managed to beat an Italian rival.
It was not just an opponent, and it was not just a victory.
It happened in an away game, in the opening round of the top 16 in the Champions League, against the league's leading runner-up in Italy - without Isaiah Miles and Richard Howell, and after Tyros Maggie was sent off.
A 2: 9 run in the last minute and a half turned a 83:78 lag into a dramatic 85:87, thanks to a three-pointer by Guy Panini, 18 seconds from the end.
In a house of four participants, with only six rounds, this victory gives the Purples a promising starting point for the rest of the road.
Next week she will play an away game, against Topash, who lost 78:70 to Karsiyaka in the Turkish derby yesterday.
The Purples were defeated 42:24 in the fight for the rebounds, but forced on their opponent 21 turnovers and took advantage of the absence of star Diangelo Harrison to control the fight in the back line.
Coach Stefanos Dadas' ace was Niv Misgav, who scored 12 points in 16 minutes, seven of them in the final quarter.
"We came ready for this game, and I am proud of my team. It is a great victory," said the Israeli guard.

"This is a great way to open the top 16, and this win is very important to us," Dadas concluded.
"We knew we were playing against a confident team, and the difficulty was high. We executed excellently in the first quarter and last minutes. We took them out of the game with our high guards. We put pressure on the scenes and their forwards, and that was the most critical part. We had a color problem, no Miles and Howell, but as a team we managed to control the game. "
James Bell, who played four years ago in Holon, scored nine points for Brindisi.
"I feel we caused this loss," he explained.
"Without detracting from what Holon did and its excellent game plan, we made mistakes that cost us the victory."
