The professional team of the Israeli team has been completed.
The Football Association announced today (Thursday) that Willie Rotensteiner's assistants in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers will be Austrian Rupert Marco and Marco Belbul.
They will be joined by Klaus Lindenberg (goalkeeping coach), Eran Sado (fitness coach), Liron Glatt (analyst), Roni Gottlieb (sports science) and Roger Sefri (physiology).
The medical team will continue to be led by Dr. Udi Kaufman.
"I am very pleased with the team that has been put together, with the Football Association's investment in the cause, and I am convinced that the contribution of each will create a whole greater than its parts," said Rotensteiner. When he was the coach of the young team and his experience in coaching teams in Israel and overseas, he will add significant strength to the team.
It is a pity that the Hazan Questionnaire will not continue with us, but I am happy for him and for his development as the one who will lead the young team, the professional and friendly relationship between us will continue, of course. "
Confusion itself, which was recently mentioned as a candidate for several teams in the Premier League, added: "I see joining the senior team as a great privilege and a key part in the continuation of my professional development. I worked with Rotensteiner for quite some time, we had hundreds of hours of football talks and ways to promote "We and I hope that in the next campaign we will succeed together, for the benefit of the team and above all for the benefit of our football. I wore the national uniform for many years, and it will still be especially exciting from the first training session with the senior team."

Alon Hazan, who will coach the young team, said: "I thank the members of the search committee for the decision to recommend me as the coach of the young team. Our football and the State of Israel are never taken for granted for me - not as a player, not as a coach. We have a difficult task in the young team, but I have very talented players at my disposal. I thank you for the time in the senior team, "In their professional qualities and personality. It is important for me to thank Andy Herzog who chose me as his assistant coach and of course Willy Rotensteiner, I learned a lot from them. I wish for the success of our representative teams and contribute as much as I can to make it happen."
Oren Hasson, chairman of the Football Association, concluded: "A very great effort has been made by the Football Association to put together the best professional team for the success of the team in the upcoming campaign.
I am convinced that the combination of the old members of the team and the new ones will prove itself and the Israeli team will continue to progress and enjoy professional patterns at the highest level.
"The members of the search committee decided to recommend to the management of the Football Association the appointment of Alon Hazan as the coach of the young team and I want to thank him already for his contribution over the years to the senior team and for being a wonderful team member."
