Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund (Saturday, 19:30, Sport 4)

Even with Borussia Dortmund only in fifth place, it is still the biggest encounter German football has to offer.

Bayern Munich may come into the game in second place if R.B.

Leipzig will win its earlier game, which will add a little more pressure on the champion.

Dortmund are under a very large load of games after beating Borussia Mönchengladbach 0-1 on Tuesday night in the Cup, now Bayern are waiting for them and on Tuesday they will host Sevilla in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Bayern Munich have not lost at home in the last 21 games (17 wins and 4 draws), while Borussia Dortmund have a streak of four wins in all competitions and are fighting for a place in the Champions League.

Bayern won 2: 3 in the last meeting between the two teams in Dortmund in November and overall won the big rival in each of the last four meetings between the two.

The game will of course also be a meeting between two of the best strikers in the world, with Robert Lewandowski (28 Bundesliga goals this season) standing on one side and Arling Holland, on the other side, who has already scored 17 league goals this season.

Rafael Greiro and Jadon Sancho were injured in Dortmund's last game and are in doubt for the game.

At Bayern Munich Benjamin Favar returned to practice after recovering from Corona and may be on the squad.

Dortmund coach Edin Terezic said ahead of the game: "When you play in Munich against Bayern you have to be very careful, but also brave and be dangerous on offense. Little things are always crucial in games like this."

Leipzig can climb to the top.

Freiburg - R.B.

Leipzig (Saturday, 16:30)

After a period of squeaks, the Bulls have returned to good form and have won their last five league games narrowing the gap from leaders Bayern Munich to just two points.

Now to R.B.

Leipzig, who beat Wolfsburg 0-0 on Wednesday night and will face Liverpool on Wednesday, are waiting for an opportunity to temporarily move up to first place.

Leipzig will be hosted by the dangerous Freiburg, who arrive cheering after 1: 2 away against Bayer Leverkusen and are in the impressive eighth place for them on the way to another season in the Bundesliga.

Although they were eliminated from the cup, in the league they have not absorbed in the last eight rounds.

Hoffenheim - Wolfsburg (Saturday, 4:30 p.m.)

Mons Dabour and his teammates finished 1-1 against Union Berlin in the last round and are now in 11th place and will try to surprise Wolfsburg.

The Wolves were indeed eliminated from the cup on Wednesday by R.B.

Leipzig, but in the league they have not conceded a single goal in the last seven rounds and have won six of them.

Wolfsburg are currently in third place, six points above fifth place.

Another game, another new coach.

Schalke players (Photo: Reuters)

Schalke - Mainz (Friday, 21:30, Sports 3)

Again a debut for a new coach at Schalke, and this time it is Dimitrios Gramozis who will try to save the homeland.

The last Schalke has so far scored just nine points this season and is on its way to the second Bundesliga.

If she's still dreaming of a heroic rescue campaign, she must beat Mainz at home, which is in 17th place and one ahead of her with 17 points.

The Reds actually come in not bad shape and have won two of the last four games.

More games:

Eintracht Frankfurt - Stuttgart (Saturday, 16:30)

Borussia Mönchengladbach - Bayer Leverkusen (Saturday, 16:30)

Herta Berlin - Augsburg (Saturday, 16:30)
