Mons Dabour's goal during Hoffenheim's game against Werder Bremen (Sport1)

Hoffenheim striker Mons Dabour was interviewed today (Thursday) for the 103FM sports program and commented on his return from Corona and his situation on the team.

Hoffenheim are currently only 11th in the Bundesliga and have been disappointingly relegated from the Europa League by Norwegian Molde.

Dabour has so far scored four goals in the league this season.

Dabour opened by saying, "I feel great, I've had two good weeks personally. I'm three and a half months behind Corona. Just a month ago I regained 100%, I feel great physically and I went back to playing properly. For two or three weeks I did nothing. "I was banned from training at home even for three weeks, we didn't even do push-ups or tummy tuck and then had to get back in shape. It was hard."

Speaking about his situation and status at Hoffenheim, Dabour said: "I'm finally after all the travels. I came here as a very senior player, they paid me money they didn't pay before. The most expensive transfer of the club, it burdens you and you are expected to lead and be among the best players "All the time. I realized that they are building on me as such a player. I have been here for almost a year and a half and I have also been through a lot of things, injuries, corona, ups and downs. Now I finally feel great, know what is expected of me, how much they appreciate and love me here."

On the situation with the Corona in Germany, Dabour said: "I am here with my wife and daughter, not easy at all. Everyone is 24 hours at home and the maximum we do is go for a walk or to the supermarket, it is a trip for me."
