At Hapoel Kfar Saba, there were those who hoped that the arrival of Elisha Levy - a veteran coach, ex-national team, ex twice in Kfar Saba - would bring a real spirit of change in the limited squad of players that the previous coach, Amir Turgeman, received.
Unlike the days when a change of coach would bring with it an almost immediate improvement in results, Levy had to deal with tools identical to those given to Turgeman - not ones that would be enough to stay in the league.
Tonight (Thursday) Levy's troubles continued to grow after a 0: 2 loss in Ashdod.
KPS made a third loss in a row, sponsored by a private performance by Dean David who scored the first in the 17th minute from Roi Gordana's cook and added the second in the 44th minute from a wonderful shot by Shlomi Azulai.
Ashdod will continue to position itself as the number three team of the season - an equally amazing achievement for Ran Ben Shimon and his young staff.
KPS can only envy the process and try to figure out how to recalculate a trajectory when the goal - as usual - is survival.
