Pele claims: Killian Ambape is capable of becoming my heir.
The legendary former Brazilian player was interviewed by the Italian Gazzetta dello Sport and provided surprising remarks about the rising star of Paris Saint-Germain.
"He could be a star on my scale. I'm not kidding," he said.
"I see his speed, and I see myself there. He is a striker who thinks fast and when the ball comes to him, he already knows what he will do with it. He always finds the best solution with the ball. These are very important things in today's football. And besides, he Adds insane speed and tremendous dribble - just like me. "
Pele, 80, often praises Ambape.
In April 2019 he said of him: "Ambape is intelligent, fast and unpredictable. There are a lot of players with good physical data, but no one is as unpredictable as he is. He deserves to win the Golden Ball. He tries to emulate me, and that's a good thing for a talent like him."
