That was the motto after the final siren had ended the ice hockey game of the Oberliga Süd between SC Riessersee and Höchstadter EC.
During this game, which ended 3: 4 from the SCR point of view, the pulse was partly on the stop.
There were several reasons for this.
On the one hand, the explosiveness of this duel, because in addition to the three points, it was also about fourth place in the table and the correspondingly better starting position for the playoffs.
On the other hand, Daniel Harrer's team of referees caused a lot of discussions on and off the ice.
SCR overslept the initial phase again
But one after the other.
The game began like the previous two for the hosts: they slept through the initial phase.
The SCR had to swallow the 0: 1 after 89 seconds.
Goalie Daniel Allevena looked past his defender to the left, and the puck hit his right.
Again with a strong reflex, Allavena prevented the 0-2 in the seventh minute.
That was much too easy for that a little later.
Bully win Höchstadt, pass in front of goal, inside was the disc.
There was also little offensive convergence at the SCR.
Noticeable: The puck was played back to the blue line several times in the attack, but was poorly accepted there, so that the attack had to be called off.
At least one strong action followed in third one.
A counterattack against Uli Maurer and Robin Soudek closed Maurer with the connection goal.
Nevertheless, that was far too little from the SCR to defend fourth place.
The SCR's penalty time account grows and grows
Coach Ron Chyzowski apparently found the right words in the dressing room, because the whites and blues were wide awake and immediately successful.
Tom Horschel scored the equalizer after 15 seconds with a violent shot.
Eetu-Ville Arkiomaa could have topped it up straight away, but it wasn't the Finn's day, as it turned out later.
Then the guests caught up again, and the game sloshed back and forth.
Sometimes the SCR was on the trigger, sometimes Höchstadt.
The difference: the guests took their chances.
Outnumbered, they scored 3-2.
The hosts were meanwhile too predictable, only the first offensive row with Maurer, Arkiomaa and Soudek radiated danger.
And the penalties gradually increased, often to the displeasure of the SCR.
This displeasure also jumped into the ranks.
An official Riessersee was even expelled from the stadium.
Maurer had little understanding for this and asked the referee when he was sitting in the penalty box what he would do if there were 6,000 spectators there - in Maurer-style, of course.
Dissatisfaction grew parallel to the SCR's penalty time account, which ended up at 18 minutes.
