Ski World Cup in Oberstdorf: Germany also wins gold from the large hill

Only seven points were before the eighth and final jump between first and third place. Then Karl Geiger came and jumped to gold for Germany. Silver went to Austria, Poland came third.

The German men's ski jumping team defended the gold medal on the large hill at the home world championships in Oberstdorf.

Pius Paschke, Severin Freund, Markus Eisenbichler and Karl Geiger won ahead of Austria and Poland.

After winning the mixed team, it is the second team gold for Germany's ski jumpers at these world championships.
