The Brooklyn constellation became even more glittery tonight (Sunday through Monday), having agreed on the addition of Blake Griffin.
The veteran Detroit free agent was mentioned as a candidate to join a number of other teams across the NBA, including Golden State, the Los Angeles Lakers and Portland, but eventually chose to partner with Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving.
Griffin will also connect with his good friend to the former Los Angeles Clippers, Diandra Jordan.
Griffin (31, 2.06m) has been on a steep descent in recent years.
After becoming the biggest star in the world in the Los Angeles Clippers uniform, his team was fed up with the many injuries he suffered and transferred him in early 2018 in a trade to Detroit.
Last year he was involved in just 18 games, and this season he took part in 20 games, in which he averaged the worst averages of his career - 12.3 points (36 percent from the field, 31 percent for 3), 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Brooklyn, which went into the All-Star break in a storm and with a 13:24 balance, half a game behind the East-leading Philadelphia, has been looking for reinforcements to its front line since the trade for James Harden, who eventually sent Jarrett Allen to Cleveland.
