Hapoel Haifa sent an official letter of complaint to the referees' union this morning (Sunday), alleging "continuous discrimination" by the team.
The last trigger was the mistakes in the game against Maccabi Tel Aviv, in which referee Eli Hachmon sculpted a goal by Ido Shachar, while in other games similar goals were approved due to a passive difference.
"The club suffers from errors of judgment which cause the result to be decided to its detriment and suffers a fatal professional injury," wrote club general manager Oren Sterling, who added: "There is also financial harm when it comes to the decisive stages of the league."
This is not the first time Hapoel Haifa has sent a letter of complaint to the referees' association, only in January the club wrote that "in the last two league games Hapoel Haifa was deprived due to misuse of the VAR system, in a way that led to refereeing decisions in the team's games against Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel K.
