The Football Association's prosecutor, Adv. Nir Reshef, decided not to prosecute Nir Klinger following the red card he received at the end of Hapoel Tel Aviv's loss (2: 1) to Maccabi Haifa last Wednesday. Reshef watched the filmed events and after reading the report of Judge Shlomi Ben Avraham decided not to file an indictment and to waive the charge.

Klinger, meanwhile, was supposed to stand on the lines in Hapoel Tel Aviv's game against Hapoel Beer Sheva tonight (20:30, Sport3), because the red card he received was after the final whistle.

If Reshef had decided on the prosecution, he would have appeared in court on Wednesday, but the said prosecutor decided to give up and the coach would not actually want a suspension.

Immediately after the game in the middle of last week, Klinger was sent off by Ben Avraham due to protests and going out of the technical area and was furious.

The coach was caught by the cameras shouting, "Until the end I will go with him, to the Supreme Court. You are hurting my livelihood, I did not say a word to you."

The Hapoel Tel Aviv players tried to keep the coach away from the place, who could not relax and continued: "What are you keeping me away from for what? What did I tell you?".

The coach explained his version of the case: "I came to keep Ben Bitton away so he would not say unnecessary things and from 15 meters decided they heard me say things? I will go to the court, I have to be on the lines and not in the stands. We will meet in court and clarify everything. What was I fired for? He will give the answers. "
