Joan Laporta has been elected president of Barcelona for the second time.

He will serve in the position for six years.

In an exclusive interview with Israel Today last month, he told Aporta, "I will do everything so that Leo Messi will not continue."

Regarding the details of the 33-year-old star's contract that were exposed and caused a stir, Laporta said: "Lau makes a lot more money than he earns. The 58-year-old Laporta, who lost the previous election in 2015, was selected during a turbulent period at the luxury club.
