The heads of the national league teams are currently holding an emergency meeting between them to discuss two main issues - a possible return of the league in the coming round and the issue of broadcasting rights.

Uri Sheretsky, one of the owners of Hapoel Jerusalem and one of the two representatives of the league in the administration, estimated to his friends at the beginning of the meeting that the administration will approve the outline of the Ministry of Sports and Health tomorrow and from the next round the fans will return to the pitches.

Shretzky told his friends: "We all need to prepare and prepare for the fact that this coming Friday there will be a crowd back on the pitches."

As is well known, according to the outline in stadiums up to ten thousand places (like most stadiums of the teams in the national league) about 750 fans holding the green badge can enter, while in larger stadiums (such as Teddy where Hapoel Jerusalem hosts) about 1,500 fans can enter.

Apart from that, the yeshiva talks a lot about the issue of broadcasting rights.

The team leaders have been updated so far that the National League teams have received about NIS 126 million a year from the broadcasting rights, while so far there has been no bid for the principal's tender regarding the broadcasting rights.

The principal estimates that even if the offer is reached, the amount of the National League teams will drop to about NIS 80 million in revenue per year, which means that each team will be hit by more than 35 percent in revenue from broadcasting rights.

This is critical for National League teams as the big concern is that the OTT outline as proposed by the manager will result in even lower revenues which will lead to the crash of quite a few teams.

"There are a lot of teams in the National League that the amount from the broadcast franchisee keeps them alive," said a source in the sub-league.

"If the amounts drop so significantly, there is a danger that half a league will not be able to pass budget control and will have to dismantle the team or ask to be relegated to the first division."
