Tottenham's 1: 4 Summary on Crystal Palace (Sport 1)
Is Gareth Bale coming to his senses?
The Welshman scored a pair in the Tottenham uniform yesterday (Sunday), which defeated Crystal Palace 1: 4, with the infamous player once again looking his best.
In five of Tottenham's last six games he has scored or cooked, and the Roosters are sixth in the Premier League with 45 points from 27 games, 2 points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
Bale as I recall was released this summer from Real Madrid after the worst season of his career (only 3 goals).
The 10 goals scored by Bale this season are the amount scored this season by Vinicius, Eden Hazard, Rodrigo and Marco Asensio - together.
Yesterday he and Harry Kane scored a brace, and Jose Mourinho's side look to be recovering.
He started the current season in a rather faltering way, but has since shown better ability.
Mourinho was asked about the recovering bale and said: "I found psychological scars in him. When you go through two seasons with so many injuries, I think it's not muscle scars but psychological scars - and they bring fear and instability.
" There is a moment when you work hard and well and everyone around you gives All we can give, and there is a moment when this psychological barrier must be broken.
And he broke it.
It was him, not us.
We just supported him. "
Tottenham are now preparing for a game in London against Dynamo Zagreb in the last 16 of the Europa League, before playing against Arsenal in the London derby on Sunday.

Bale himself said of his recovery that "it took some time, but I am experienced enough to know that patience is needed."
When asked if he could return to his best, he replied: "Days will tell, but I am no longer 21. The body is changing, and I am learning to accept it."
Commentator Graham Suns, on the other hand, says he expects more from him: "If I were him at this point, I would knock on the coach's door and tell him I'm ready. "Those words he says, that he is no longer 21 - we were all 31. His career ends quickly. I would like to see more enthusiasm from him."
