Too time-consuming, too expensive: Many football clubs reject a training program with quick tests

Football with contact is possible from March 22 at the earliest - if the kickers have an up-to-date quick test.

But many clubs don't go along with this.

District

- Bavaria's amateur footballers should return to a kind of normality in small steps.

The problem: the number of new infections is still high.

The Freising district had an incidence value of 90.6 on Sunday - and that makes it clear: footballers over the age of 14 still have to be patient - exceptions only apply to children.

In view of the local infection rate, outdoor contact sports are only possible from March 22nd at the earliest - and only if all training participants have a daily quick test or self-test with negative results.

For many football clubs, this is not an option.

First you continue to focus on individual fitness.

Reactions from the national league

The footballers have again been given an open perspective, with the one in the Freising district standing on a clay foot in view of the 7-day incidence value.

The national league team of

VfB Hallbergmoos

does not expect training to start anytime soon.

The sporting director of VfB, Anselm Küchle, is currently rather black: He knows business games run by the Bavarian Football Association (BFV) that you have to start the league again around the end of April for the round to be completed properly.

This means that training should start again at the end of March.

Küchle is skeptical here, however - which is also made clear by the infection numbers: districts such as Altötting or Rosenheim are currently above 100 - the clubs are definitely not allowed on the square.

According to Küchle, you can only think about point games when everyone is under 100.

With the current upward trend, that should take some time - and with the composition of the Landesliga Südost in the districts, a lot would have to happen so that everyone can train again with the same chances and later also be able to play.

For the rest of this season, there will probably be no more muddling through.

Anselm Küchle, Sports Director of VfB Hallbergmoos

Anselm Küchle knows that the Hallbergmooser's promotion to the Bayern League without a fight is getting closer in the event of a season break.

“But we'd rather make it on the pitch.

It's certainly more fun. ”For the autumn, the head of sports at VfB could again imagine regular game operations in the stadium at the airport -“ but for the rest of this season there will probably be no more muddling through ”.

Spring is coming - and the

SE Freising

footballers would also be

looking forward to exciting league duels for a long time.

This year, however, there is a standstill.

At least individually, the national league kickers work on their own constitution, at the request of the team, the Lerchenfelder also started training with the B 42 app in winter.

“We deliberately didn't tell anyone about that,” emphasizes SEF coach Alex Plabst.

In irregular video conferences, Plabst and his assistant trainer Florian Bittner get feedback on the fitness level of the team.

So that - whenever - it doesn't start from scratch.

However, that is exactly the dominant question - also in the Savoy Au: When will a really regular training be possible again for footballers?

In principle, things could start on March 22nd at the earliest - with a stable incidence between 50 and 100 and with a daily quick test or self-test with a negative result before the respective exercise unit.

The yellow-blacks won't go along with that for now: too much effort.

“With 20 to 30 people, we're more busy testing than training,” argues Plabst.

"In addition, there are immense costs." That means: Until the next opening step in April, SE Freising will have training plans in addition to the B 42 app - only then can Plabst imagine real football training.

How and whether the current season will be brought to an end is also in the stars, everything depends on the incidence values.

Plabst would like the round to be completed by the end of June.

And for two reasons: On the one hand, when it comes to the decision about promotion and relegation, it is only fair.

"And on the other hand, since we are no longer concerned with anything, that would have the advantage that we can use it wonderfully as preparation for the new season." To end the European Football Championship, the point games should start at the end of April.

“It will be a tight schedule,” fears the SEF coach.

That's what the district league coaches say

The longing for a return to the field is also great among the district league footballers.

"For us, nothing changes for the time being," says Gerhard Lösch (32), trainer at

TSV Eching

, with regard to the policy's phased plan.

“We're waiting and aiming for April 5th.

If we can then play with Kontakt again, we will go to the field. ”Only when the restart is foreseeable, the leaders of the Northern District League will start his preparations.

The easing strategy has brought this a little closer to politics than it was in January or February.

"We want to be prepared for everything and not start from scratch when it starts again," says the TSV coach.

Gone are the days when the zebra players could put their feet up.

Lösch distributed running plans.

“Because from Monday the boys should run three times a week.

First the basic endurance is on, then there are interval runs. ”Other coaches gave their players running plans much earlier.

“We didn't do anything.

I think that a lot doesn't always help a lot.

We are soccer players and not marathon runners, ”says Lösch.

He relies on a short and crisp preparation for the preparation: "The boys have to deal with the twelve runs in the next four weeks."

The

SpVgg Kammerberg

will also wait.

"Nothing will change for our planning," emphasizes player-coach Matthias Koston (30).

He and his players long for training sessions together.

“It would be nice if we could play again.

That doesn't even have to be with contact - soccer tennis would be great, ”says Koston.

At least four people are needed for a well-kept game of soccer tennis.

With the current incidence value in the district, they would have to come from two households - difficult to implement.

Koston and his kickers have to be patient.

Kammerberg's trainer is currently focusing on personal responsibility: “We have not distributed any running plans.

The boys are grown up - they know they should keep fit. ”They do that.

Co-player-coach Benjamin Hofmann and captain Tim Bürchner offer online high-intensity training for the upper body and legs.

"When we can play again, we will provide an offer and train once a week," says Koston.

On a voluntary basis: "If there are players who cannot or do not want to for professional or other reasons, that's okay with me." As far as the start of the preparation is concerned, the SpVgg would be spontaneous.

"If all the conditions are met, we could start training within a week."

The

SVA Palzing

footballers

imagined their first season after promotion to the district league to be completely different.

“The boys all want to play, they long for football,” says coach Sepp Summerer (65).

The emphasis is on "playing" - that is, with duels and everything that defines the sport.

"If we can only meet with a negative test, that's difficult," explains the coach.

And further: "If something is possible from March 22nd, we will look spontaneously and maybe train once a week."

If we can only meet with a negative test, that's difficult.

Sepp Summerer, trainer at SVA Palzing

Until then, the SVA kickers try to bring their form to a good level.

Goalkeeper Manfred Bullok organized an online training session.

“He has thought of something good.

Endurance, strength and gymnastics - everything is included, ”says Summerer.

The 65-year-old is not afraid of comparisons with his players and hooks up in the video units: “It's very exhausting.

My muscles were sore. ”He and the players would rather pick it up on the pitch.

“If the BFV sends a signal that the league is starting, we will organize the preparation.”

Voices from the district league

The resolutions of the federal-state conference last Wednesday also provide for opening steps for sport.

However, the district league clubs from the district are not yet making great hopes for a speedy return to regular training.

"In principle, it all depends on the incidence value in the Freising district," explains Martin Ricks, team manager at

BC Attaching

.

“We have to keep the value below 100 for the next four weeks so that we can even begin with the three weeks of preparation promised by the association.

Should the incidence stay below 100 or even 50 during this time, we could theoretically play at the end of April.

But that's still seven or eight weeks.

So much can still happen that I don't even dare to look out. "

An earlier start of training from March 22nd is currently not up for debate: Since the Freising district currently has an incidence between 50 and 100, this would only be possible with current rapid tests of all training participants.

“If we are only allowed to train with tests, then we will not train because the effort would simply be too great.

And there may be populations that need these tests more urgently, ”explains Ricks.

"The cheapest thing I've heard so far is five euros per test," adds department head Stefan Lohmeier from

SC Kirchdorf

.

“So I don't think that would be financially viable for us as an association.

From that point of view this is not an alternative for us.

Should the BFV provide a contingent that the clubs can access, one could think about it.

But I don't really believe that. "

Sports director Martin Braun from

TSV Moosburg

points out that in the clubs a volunteer would have to be responsible for ensuring that valid self-tests were used and that they were carried out correctly.

Equal opportunities are also important to him.

“When I look at my A-youths: They have a game community with Buch am Erlbach.

If the Landshut district has an incidence value of less than 50, training should begin there on March 22nd without testing.

Are the players from Moosburg then not allowed to take part in training without tests or are they allowed because the training takes place in Buch? ”The same topic is found in the leagues that consist of teams from different districts.

“It could be that, for example, the Erdinger teams have already been able to train fully for weeks without tests while we are waiting for the incidence value to remain stable below 100 for two weeks.

That almost borders on the distortion of competition. "

"At the moment, everything is still a bit vague, there are many question marks," says SCK department head Stefan Lohmeier.

“Detailed concepts and clear guidelines for the training and match operations must be drawn up.

The BFV and the ministries are challenged.

For me, I have now envisaged April 8th as a reasonably realistic date for a training start.

Until then you don't have to think twice or plan. ”Too much is still unclear.

Martin Braun from TSV Moosburg also sees no priority in the question of the start of the league game.

“In my opinion, we first have to come back to a regular daily routine and life in all areas, for example ensuring lessons for the students, giving employers in retail and catering a perspective and not philosophizing about whether the 19/21 football season is over is played.

It's a wonderful hobby, but it's just a hobby.

That's why amateur football isn't that important. ”
