Just before Washington begins the second half of the regular season in a game against Memphis on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, reporters covering the team discuss its ways to get better.
The Wizards are ranked 12th in the East and are just two games away from eighth-ranked Toronto, but despite the positive momentum, the team is considering the possibility of getting stronger.
The one mentioned today (Tuesday) as a candidate for the team is Otto Porter Jr., who has played for the team in the past and may leave Chicago.
If he arrives, a forward who plays in the forward positions could take minutes from Danny Abdia and serve on the standard of the player who gives threes and defense - the same Scott Brooks has been looking for and finding since the start of the season.

In the Locked On Wizards podcast, Washington correspondents Ben Mahitch and Anthony Citadino discussed the possibility of making a trade that would bring the Wizards Nikola Wojciech, who may leave Orlando.
Among other things, the two discussed the question of whether in the event that the possibility of landing Wojciech would be on the table, Washington should give up Danny Abdia and transfer him to another team.
"I'm still not ready to say goodbye to Danny now. If that was my decision, I would trade on the Achimura before I trade on Abdia. Danny must not be given up," Citadino said.
"He has a very high ceiling, and I'm very intrigued to see how he develops. He's one of the team's most important assets for the future. It does not say anything bad about Hachimura, who has made a leap in defense this season, but there are still many question marks about him."
Ben Mahitch added: "I tend to agree. I would give Hachimura, Mo Wagner, Isaac Bonga and Man Smith in exchange for Wojciech."
