Summary: Hapoel Tel Aviv defeats Hapoel Beer Sheva 0: 1 at Turner Stadium (Sport1)
The referees' association decided to suspend Eli Hachmon from refereeing for the next round, following his mistake yesterday (Sunday) in the game between Hapoel Beer Sheva and Hapoel Tel Aviv, where he served as a VAR referee and did not think that Hatem's Abd al-Hamid's goal should be approved in extra time.
As will be recalled, Kwon Nati Dotan raised the flag claiming Anthony Varen's difference, and although on the video screen it was clear that the striker was in line with the Hapoel Tel Aviv defense that stood on the goal line, Hakmon did not find it appropriate to approve the goal.
Chief Justice Daniel Bar-Natan was not even called to the screen to examine the incident, and since when the VAR judge approves the online ruling, as in this case, the Chief Justice should not be called.
As evidence, Bar Natan was placed in the next round as the fourth referee for the game between Maccabi Netanya and Hapoel Hadera.

For Hakmon, who is approaching retirement age, this is the fourth suspension period of the season.
The first time he was not included in one game, the second time in two games, and the third time in three games.
The judges' union was upset after seeing the case, and a senior official was even quoted in Walla!
Sports as saying: "I'm in a storm of emotions."
