Hapoel Galil Elyon dreams of advancing to the Premier League and tonight (Tuesday) it made a surprising move when it added the domestic player Adrian Yuter, who has previously played for several teams in the Premier League.
"I am very excited to join the team. Every player dreams of being part of a club with a rich history and wonderful fans. Thank you to the whole organization for wanting me to be part of the family. Now get to work!", Uterer said in a statement on behalf of the club.
Yuter (2.00, 36) came to Israel to Hapoel Lev Hasharon from the second league, and then also moved to the national league in the Baka and Hapoel Tel Aviv clubs, helping the two to advance to the Premier League.
He was promoted to the first league when he signed for Maccabi Rishon Lezion and was one of the best foreigners in the league for two years between 2011 and 2013.
After a season in Europe, he returned to Israel when he signed with Hapoel Eilat and continued to be one of the dominant foreigners in color in the Premier League.
Uttar continued his journey when he signed for the first leagues in Italy, France, Mexico, Korea and Puerto Rico, from where he arrives after recently finishing the basketball season.
In the last two seasons in Puerto Rico, Uter has won the championship with his team.
He suffered, among other things, a severe knee injury that stopped his career when he was at his peak.
