A bothersome back injury could prevent David Marshall from playing against the Israeli national team at the end of March.
The goalkeeper who excelled in the Scotland national team uniform on his journey to Euro 2020, was injured in the East Midlands derby between Derby County and Nottingham Forest on 26 February and has not returned to action since.

Marshall's coach in the derby, Wayne Rooney, said yesterday that the goalkeeper would not play tomorrow against Barensley and explained: "At first we thought my client would be absent from one game, but then it became clear to us that it would take longer."

The 36-year-old Marshall became Scotland's first-time goalkeeper under Steve Clark.
He stopped Eran Zehavi's penalty on the way to Scotland's 3: 5 victory over Israel on penalties in the Euro semi-final playoffs.
About a month later, Pendel also stopped in a duel against Serbia and his team qualified for the tournament for the first time since 1996.
If Marshall could not play, the one who would probably take his place between the posts would be 38-year-old Craig Gordon.
The veteran goalkeeper has 55 appearances for the team and he moved from Celtic to Harts in the summer, after it was relegated to the Scottish Premier League.
If he opens, he will replace the weekly struggles with small teams like Aloe, Morton and Rayth Rovers, in attempts to stop Eran Zehavi and Manor Solomon.
Scotland will host Bloomfield in the second round of the sixth house, three days after opening their World Cup qualifiers against Austria at home.
On March 31, it will host the Faroe Islands.
