The wave of indignation did not stop in the Pyrenees.
The sexist banner deployed by PSG supporters and targeting Shakira, the companion of Catalan defender Gerard Piqué, caused a stir in Spain and also raised deep consternation on the Parisian side.
On the eve of the round of 16 second leg of the Champions League against FC Barcelona at the Parc des Princes (1-4 victory in the first leg), a group of supporters, the Rebirths, who have been in the Bologna grandstand for about two years , deployed on Sunday several banners such as "Paris, city of light, let our colors shine", "Europe on its knees, all Paris standing" or "Barcelona no bienvenido" in particular near the Parc des Princes which will be the theater on Wednesday of this return match of C1 behind closed doors between PSG and Barça.
An "inadmissible, violent and sexist" message
But it was a message that caught the attention attacking the privacy of one of Barça's players that caused a real scandal.
The “Shakira à la Jonquera” banner establishes a link between the Colombian singer and a Catalan town on the French border known to be a hotbed of prostitution.
"PSG strongly and unambiguously condemns" this kind of message that it considers "ridiculous" and "totally out of place", the communications department told us.

This banner on Shakira caused controversy in Spain on Monday, International Women's Day.
Mundo Deportivo denounced a "macho banner" and El National spoke of an "inadmissible, violent and sexist" message insinuating that Shakira is a prostitute.
Fans of the singer are also outraged on the Internet.
