Maccabi Tel Aviv left for Greece today (Wednesday) where it will meet Panathinaikos and its Israeli coach Oded Katash in an intriguing game (Thursday, 21:00), knowing that only a victory will leave her any chance of qualifying for the next stage.
Before take-off, coach Yannis Sapropoulos said: "We did not have much time to prepare for the game, only two days, but this is our life. It is very important that we follow our plan. We need to know how to defend and how to play on offense."
The Greek commented on Katsch's influence on the opponent's style of play: "Panathinaikos plays under Katsch a different style, his style, he has already assimilated his philosophy. They move the ball more and look for the best option in attack with a lot of movement and use of all players. There is another role in the group. "
