The Vélodrome, the emblematic stadium of Marseille, will host a vaccination center against Covid-19, in principle from next week, announced the Regional Health Agency (ARS).
Contacted by AFP, the ARS was unable to give a more precise date.
The vaccination will be done in collaboration with the city, owner of the sports site, the Marseille hospitals (AP-HM), the territorial professional health communities and the marine firefighters of Marseille, detailed the ARS Provence-Alpes-Côte d ' Azur in a press release.
Local elected officials launched this idea to speed up the vaccination campaign.
