The Atletico Madrid team defeated Athletic Bilbao today, with two goals to one, in the 28th round of the Spanish Football League.
Atletico's goals were scored by Marcos Llorente in the 45th minute and Luis Suarez in the 51st minute from a penalty kick.
Ikar Muniain scored a goal from Bilbao in the 21st minute of the match.
With this result, Atletico raised its score to 62 points, to top the league table, while Bilbao stuck to 33 in eighth place.
