Hapoel Holon's magic journey continues.
The last Israeli representative in the Champions League completed a dream opening in the top 16 last night (Tuesday), when she defeated the Topash Bursa 81:93 in Turkey - and reached the third road with a balance of 0: 2 away.
Holon owes this victory to its four Americans, who together scored 84 points out of the 93 team in rare percentages: 29-22 for two, 18-8 for three and 17-16 from the penalty spot.
Tyros Maggie sniped 25, Chris Johnson added 22, CJ Harris had 21 and Isaiah Miles contributed 16 plus nine rebounds, though it was his first game after recovering from Corona.
"We are proud to continue to represent Israel at a high level," said coach Stefanos Dadas.
"This game was a good example that we are serious, that we have a team spirit and strategy, and that we are competitive. We are very tired, but the exhaustion and injuries are part of the game."

In the power rating posted on the Champions League website, the Purples were ranked fifth before the round - but they seem to be on their way to the top.
This was their fifth consecutive victory at the factory;
Turk Telecom Ankara, which will complete its second appearance in the top 16 tonight, has a similar streak;
San Pablo Burgos is the only one to hold a longer streak, and it stands at seven games.
The Purples do not have much time to rest, and already this morning they are flying to Macedonia ahead of tonight's game (21:00) against Komanovo in the Balkan League.
The problem of returning to Israel, due to the closure of Ben Gurion Airport, was solved thanks to a creative idea: one of the young volleyball teams leaves today on a private flight to the European Championships in Zadar, and the plane will continue to Skopje to pick up Holon and take off back to Israel at night.
But that did not end the logistical challenges.
For now, the existence of the home game next Wednesday against Pinar Karsiyaka is in doubt, due to the fact that the opponent can not reach Israel.
The only way to do that is if you join a "rescue flight" from Frankfurt on Monday.
The Turks have also offered to host their away game in their hall in Izmir, but Holon opposes giving up the home game.
