The Spanish club Barcelona announced the absence of its player Gerard Pique from the French Paris Saint-Germain match in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, due to injury.
The club's official website stated that Pique will not be able to participate against the Paris Saint-Germain team because he has recovered from the injury he sustained in a match that the team fought in the second leg of the King’s Cup semi-finals against Seville.
Pique suffered a severe injury in overtime to meet his team against Sevilla, which ended in favor of Barcelona with a score of 3-0 in the second leg of the King's Cup semi-final.
