Will Leo Messi stay at Barcelona next season?

The reappointment of Juan Laporta as the club's president has boosted optimism at the club that the star will indeed stay and possibly end his career there.

But journalist Christian Martin reports today (Wednesday) that Messi will not stay at the club despite a change of management, with the top candidates to sign him remaining being Manchester City's Pep Guardiola and Paris Saint-Germain.

After the stormy summer and the big blast, Messi started the season accordingly, but recently returned to his good and well-known fitness and is already the league's top scorer with 19 conquests.

In Paris they do not hide their desire to sign Messi and even the strongman Leonardo said that Messi is in the club's plans.

In Paris, they are building on Neymar convincing his good friend to join him on the team, where there is an Argentine colony that includes coach Pochettinho, Angel Di Maria, Mauro Icardi and Andrew Pardes.

Manchester City have not spoken publicly about Messi, but their big card beyond the unlimited budgetary ability to keep his contract, is coach Pep Guardiola, under whom Messi flourished and led the Catalans to every possible title.
