Hapoel B'Shlosha reached a plea deal this morning (Wednesday) regarding Joshua's punishment for his dismissal in the game against Urbani Kash.
According to the outline with Dayan Israel Shimoni, it was determined that the Portuguese will be suspended for three actual games and another four on probation for one year.
In the plea deal, Shimoni criticized the association's prosecutor, lawyer Nir Reshef, and wrote: "We were dealing with harsh statements that amount to a threat and I wonder why the esteemed plaintiff contented himself with prosecuting the defendant for the offense of misconduct only."
Shimoni added: "I will note that without the plea agreement, it might have been appropriate to clarify matters and even use my authority to aggravate the indictment clause after a warning in accordance with the defendant."
It should be noted that Joshua has already run a dismissal in the last game against Hapoel Tel Aviv and this means that the Portuguese will also be missing from Hapoel BS in its last two games in the regular league against Maccabi Petah Tikva (away) and Bnei Yehuda (home), In the first six.
