Borussia Mönchengladbach will play the second leg of the second leg in the Champions League against Manchester City again in Budapest.
Borussia announced that.
The first leg on February 24 (0: 2) was played in Budapest because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The background to the renewed postponement of the game is a briefly changed entry regulation, which would have resulted in a 14-day quarantine for the Bundesliga club after returning from England.
This is now also costing Borussia a lot of money: Gladbach has to pay around 1.5 million euros to ManCity as compensation for the necessary postponement of the game.
The Puskas-Arena is Uefa's most popular alternative location, and numerous European Cup matches have already been held there.
However, due to the high incidence of corona in Hungary and the lockdown for large parts of society, the practice is controversial.
