An extension to enjoy:
The last ten minutes of this game had everything that makes knockout games exciting.
The supposed decision and surprise when Sérgio Oliveira converted a direct free kick from almost 28 meters flat and through the wall to 2-2 in the 115th minute.
Then again tension because Adrien Rabiot scored the 3-2 for Juve two minutes later.
And when Matthijs de Ligt fell in stoppage time in stoppage time in the opponent's penalty area, the belated success of the favorite, as well as Juan Cuadrado's big chance in the 94th minute suddenly seemed close again.
Only there was legitimately no penalty, Cuadrado failed to goalkeeper Agustín Marchesín.
The result:
Juventus wins 3: 2 (0: 1, 2: 1) after extra time, but is still eliminated.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing for Juve since the 2018/2019 season.
Until the first leg in Porto (1: 2) he scored all seven goals for his team in knockout games in the premier class.
Against Porto, Ronaldo remained pale in both games.
Negative high point: When Oliveira made it 2-2, it was the Portuguese's legs in the free kick wall through which the ball found its way into the goal.
In 2018 Ronaldo came to Turin to bring the Champions League to Piedmont.
Now Juve failed for the second time in a row in the round of 16.
The first half:
Porto acted more offensively than expected, switching quickly and well, especially after winning the ball.
Before and after Oliveira's penalty goal (19th minute of the game), the guests had better chances, Juve lacked the ideas offensively.
FC22 instead of CR7?
When things got dangerous, it was Chiesa who brought himself into play against Porto as the legitimate successor to the aging and frighteningly harmless Ronaldo against Porto.
The man with the shirt number 22 scored three of the four goals against Porto.
In the first leg only the important 1: 2, in Turin he was the first Italian since Filippo Inzaghi 22 years ago to score a brace for the Italian record champions in a knockout game in the premier class.

The second half, part one:
this time the hosts had ideas.
Leonardo Bonucci played a nice pass to Ronaldo, who failed to accept it, but replaced Chiesa's equalizer (49th).
Juventus then pressed the opening goal - and received undreamt-of help.
The stupidity of the game:
committed Porto's Mehdi Taremi.
After he had not even seen a yellow card 120 seconds before, he hit the ball away after an offside whistle and flew off the field with a yellow and red whistle.
A correct, albeit very tough, decision by referee Björn Kuipers.
Taremi himself refused to admit it.
On the way from the square, he asked the fourth official.
“It's the Champions League, isn't it?” Taremi would not have only wished for a little more instinct from Kuipers in this situation.
The second half, part two:
After being sent off, Porto wobbled worryingly, the lead through the double Chiesa was logical (63rd).
As the length of the game increased, it became less and less clear that Juve was outnumbered.
Cuadrado missed the biggest chance to 3-1 in stoppage time, which would have been enough for the quarter-finals.

Age does not protect against performance:
Porto's starting eleven was well over 29 years old on average.
Only in the 2: 4 against Barcelona in March 2000 did Porto play in the Champions League with an older team.
Although it wasn't enough to win in the premier class in the 14th away game in a row, the Portuguese won't care much.
With the quick switch game from a compact defense, the outsider recalled another team that caused a sensation last season - and was responsible for the end of Juventus in the round of 16: Olympique Lyon.
After the performance in Turin, there is no reason to believe that Porto could not advance to the semi-finals of the Champions League as well.
And now, Juve?
In Serie A, Juventus are ten points (one game less) behind Inter.
The last chance for a title is the final in the Italian Cup against Atalanta Bergamo.
Should Andrea Pirlo not win a title in his first season as head coach, it would be a bitter disappointment, after all, the club was the last nine champions in a row.
The player Pirlo was characterized by nonchalance and ingenuity.
The coach Pirlo still has to prove at least the latter.
After the early Champions League exit, it is questionable whether he will get the time at Juventus.
