After the festive All-Star break and in his first game in the second half of the NBA season, Danny Abdia provided a great game tonight (Wednesday through Thursday) that did not help his Washington Wizards team suffer a defeat against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Israeli rookie finished with 13 points (5 from 8 from the field, 3 from 5 from three) in 24 minutes and added 6 rebounds and 6 assists, when the blog "Bullets Forever" read: "Danny's attack is one of the bright spots in the first half" .

Unfortunately for the team from the capital, the one who provided one of his weakest games lately was Bradley Bill who partnered in the festive All-Star Game but finished with a solid night with just 21 points and 27% from the field.

Scott Brooks referred to this in the post-match campaign and said: “He will have a month where he will hit 65% off the arc, I look forward to it.

I feel that he will warm up and for a whole month he will not miss anything. "

Despite Abdia’s great play, there were also some who weren’t really impressed.

"The Ringer" commentators Kevin O'Connor, Jonathan Charks and Kyle Mann spoke extensively about the Israeli in a podcast, referring to his first half of the season, arguing that the matchmaking between the parties would not promote Abdia.

"Before the draft I believed he would be a nice complementary player. His shooting looks just fine and he showed sparks of a playmaker," Mann said.

"But the key question is whether with players like Bradley Bill and Russell Westbrook, he is able to develop on the right track. Right now, it is difficult for him to show the benefits that can give him more minutes," he added.
