For months, almost for years, Löw has been heavily criticized.
The early end at the 2018 World Cup, the poor performance in the Nations League and most recently the debacle against Spain: The calls for a new national coach have recently been getting louder.

The fact that it was March 9th of all things, a more common Champions League Tuesday from a football perspective, came as a surprise to the experts.
After all, the DFB now has enough time to look for a successor - but Jürgen Klopp will probably not.
