Barça did not repeat the coup of the comeback, but at least showed a much better face than at Camp Nou.

Swept in the first leg (1-4) in February, the Barcelona have made a much more consistent copy for their knockout round of the Champions League against PSG on Wednesday night.

A draw (1-1) synonymous with elimination, but at the end of a meeting where Lionel Messi and his partners dominated the Parisians.

"With honor", headline the Catalan sports dailies Mundo Deportivo and Sport on the front page of their Thursday edition.

The newspapers have also almost chosen the same photo, that of the judgment of Keylor Navas on the penalty of Lionel Messi, symbol of the fantastic match of the Parisian goalkeeper.

“The local hero”, underlines Mundo Deportivo in his report of the meeting, where Sport salutes “an inspired Keylor Navas”.

The performance of the former Real Madrid goalkeeper has also been praised by the media that follow the club from the Spanish capital, like Marca.

"Keylor stops Barcelona", headlines the latter.

"Barça said goodbye to the Champions League in the first qualifying round for the first time in 14 years, but showed a very different image from the 1-4 of Camp Nou," said Mundo Deportivo.

"Barcelona was by far the best team", slips for its part Sport in its edition in English.

"We deserved to pass"

Overall, the Catalan media prefer to look to the future, citing the return to the head of the club of former leader Joan Laporta, re-elected president on Sunday.

"We defended our dignity, we deserved to win and to pass," said the new boss of the Catalans, according to comments reported by Sport.
